Wo ist Gregor?
Er ist draußen im Garten.
Er gießt die Rosen.
Eine ganz schöne Arbeit.
Der Boden ist steinhart.
Die Pflanzen sind durstig.
Seit einem Monat hat es nicht mehr geregnet.
Gregor ist fertig.
Er hat den ganzen Vormittag dafür gebraucht.
Schau hoch zum Himmel.
Sehr dunkle Wolken.
Es regnet in Strömen.
Donner und Blitz.
Komm schnell rein.
Du willst doch nicht nass werden.
Armer Gregor.
So viel harte Arbeit.
Und das alles umsonst.

Where is Gregor? He's out in the garden. Watering the roses. A very big job. The ground is rock hard. The plants are thirsty. No rain for a month. Gregor has finished. He needed all morning. Look up at the sky. Very dark clouds. It's raining cats and dogs. Thunder and lightning. Come inside quickly. You don't want to get wet. Poor Gregor. Lots of hard work. And, all for nothing at all.
